How to play

Two players get 7 cards each; three or four get 5. The rest is the pond.
On your turn, ask one player for a rank you hold at least one of. If they have any, they hand over all of them and you go again.
If they have none they say “Go fish!” and you draw from the pond. Draw the rank you asked for and you show it and go again; otherwise the turn passes.
Four of a rank is a book, laid down at once.
If your hand runs out, you draw 5 from the pond (or what’s left). With the pond empty too, you sit out the rest of the game.
When all 13 books are made, most books wins. Ties share the win.
Ranked: three Sharp opponents, 100 to sit down, and the winner takes 400 (ties split it). Who starts is drawn at random. Leaving early forfeits your 100.
